For most of us, we've experienced the luxury that comes with going to the spa and getting a delightful custom facial. You’re overcome with relaxation and walk out with that envious glow. It would be a dream to experience this treatment all the time but with our busy schedules it can be hard to make the time for it. However, it’s important to take the time for self care and we recommend devoting 15 minutes to yourself each week and try one of these three DIY masks featured in Allure Magazine.
If you have dry skin try this DIY mask:
1 avocado
2 tablespoons of plain yogurt
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 tablespoon of honey
A favorite Sorella Apothecary mask available for purchase, is the Peach and Honey mask, $58
If you have acne prone skin try this DIY mask:
1 mashed banana ( Try to buy organic)
½ teaspoon of baking soda
½ teaspoon of turmeric powder
For a ready to go product, try the Sorella Apothecary Rosehip Warming Mask, $58
If you have sensitive skin try this DIY mask:
1 tablespoon of greek yogurt
1 teaspoon of honey
1 teaspoon of cocoa powder
A great option for sensitive skin, is the Sorella Apothecary Papaya and Pumpkin Mask, $50.
We hope you love these DIY mask options and if you’re in need of a ready to go mask make sure to reach out to Jen about purchasing options.
